How to buy

Use our Product Finder to find the item(s) you are looking for. Then, select the details of an individual product and click on the shopping basket button to add the item to your online shopping basket.

At any time you can view the contents of your shopping basket by clicking on the button on the top bar of our website page.  Once you have finished adding items to your basket, you can click on the 'Buy Now' button on the 'View Basket' page and you will be taken to our secure checkout to enter your details.

How to get a password

If you haven't got a username and password:

If you already have an account with us, fax your request on company headed stationery to 020 8689 6027 or email us at info@futures-supplies.co.uk and we will contact you to issue your individual username and password which will give you access to your contract prices online.

If you do not have an account with us, please complete the credit application form, online enquiry, or fax us your request on company headed stationery to 020 8689 6027 and we will contact you to arrange to open an account for you and issue your individual username and password.

The shopping facilities on this website have been designed for use with reasonably up to date web browsers.  If you are not using one of our recommended web browsers, you may experience some difficulties.

How do I open a Credit Account Facility?

Please complete the form on our website.  Your account will normally be opened in 4-5 working days. Should you require goods urgently please contact our Sales Office. Please note that for sole traders and Limited Companies which have traded for less than six months we will not be able to offer a Credit Account Facility. However, we shall be pleased to trade initially on a payment with order.

How do I get a Username and Password so that I can sign on and place an order online?

If you haven't got a username and password:

If you do not have an account with us and would like to place an order, select the ORDER & PAY NOW option which will appear when you first add an item to your basket; or if you would like to order regularly and open an account, please complete the credit application form, online enquiry, or fax us your request on company headed stationery to 020 8689 6027 and we will contact you to arrange to open an account for you and issue your individual username and password.

What are your Carriage Terms?

Delivery of the Goods will normally be within 7 working days following acceptance of the buyer's order, subject to stock availability and carriage charges where applicable. Next day, named delivery day or time slot delivery, where available, are subject to a charge of £5.95, please contact our sales department. Collections from our Croydon Warehouse can be made free of charge.

A more detailed breakdown of our delivery charges by area is as follows.  These charges are a guideline only and actual website delivery charges may vary for specific products or delivery areas.

Within Congestion charge zone

  • £1.00 if order value over £50
  • £1.00 + standard delivery charge (£8.50) if order value under £50. (i.e. total charge £9.50)

Within M25 (but outside congestion charge zone)

  • Free if order value over £50
  • Standard delivery charge (£8.50) if order value less than £50

England outside M25, Wales, Scottish Lowlands main towns

  • Basic charge of standard delivery charge (£8.50)
  • Plus additional low order charge of £8.50 if order value less than £50
  • Plus additional £0.30 for every kg over 20kg

Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands

  • Basic charge of £20.60 plus additional low order charge of £8.50 if order value less than £50, plus additional £2.60 for every kg over 1kg

Northern Ireland

  • Basic charge of £22.50
  • Plus additional low order charge of £8.50 if order value less than £50
  • Plus additional £2.50 for every kg over 1kg

What day is delivery due?

Delivery of the Goods will normally be within 7 working days following acceptance of the buyer's order, subject to stock availability and carriage charges where applicable. Collections from our Croydon Warehouse can be made free of charge. We will contact you if we are having difficulty for processing your order for any reason.

Is it in stock?

We hold large stocks of the products shown on our website and can normally deliver from stock. Please contact our Sales Office to confirm availability.

Can I have the MSDS Sheets to assist with my COSSH Assessments?

Some products have the MSDS sheets online. If you cannot find the one you require, please contact our Sales Office who will be able to fax, post or e-mail it to you by return.

Can I have a sample?

Please contact our Sales Office who will provide assistance.

What times are you open for business?

Our website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Office hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Are dispensers supplied?

Main line dispensers are supplied 'On Loan' under our standard 'Terms & Conditions of Business'. They remain the property of Futures Supplies and are subject to charge. Or you can purchase them.

What are your Bank Account Details?

Please contact our office who will be happy to provide you with our bank account details.

I've had the wrong goods delivered, what should I do?

We are sorry that this has happened. Please contact our Sales Office who will be pleased to make arrangements to exchange them as quickly as possible.

I am unhappy with the goods you have sent me

Please contact our Sales Office who will make arrangements to exchange them or make a refund.

The goods you have sent me are damaged

Please contact our Sales Office who will be pleased to make arrangements to exchange them.

The goods do not seem to be the same as the last time I ordered them

Please contact our Sales Office who will be able to explain the reason for the change.

I may not be available when you try to deliver

Please advise us of any special delivery requirements ie. phone before delivery. Due to the nature of the goods involved, we are unable to leave goods without a signature. There may be an additional charge for certain special arrangements.

Do you demonstrate Application Equipment?

We can arrange demonstrations for items of equipment. Please contact our Sales Office or our Local Area Representative to make arrangements.

What is your returns policy?

If goods are unused and in their original packaging we will gladly credit or refund the goods however carriage charges and special delivery charges will still apply. A minimum 10% handling charge will be applied and carriage will be charged for collection as applicable (see ‘What Are Your Carriage Terms’). Unfortunately we are unable to do this with special order items, unless they are faulty.

The goods are faulty, what should I do?

Please contact our Sales Office who will make arrangements for repair/replacement as quickly as possible.

Solutions to Common Problems

Problem: Your prices were being displayed and then they stop being displayed

This can happen if you leave your PC for a long period after signing on and then return to carry on with your order more than 20 minutes later.  The solution is to sign on again.
