The most recognized international quality management system standard, ISO 9001, provides specific requirements that enhance the ability to consistently deliver products and services that meet customer demands.

ISO 14001 - Environmental Management

Accreditation (02 - Environmental Management)

Futures Supplies have taken formal and systematic measures to formalise its approach to its environmental project, and successfully gained certification to BS EN IS0 14001 in 2007.

Environmental management is the control of interactions with the environment in which we live, ie. our global ecosystem comprising air, water and land.

The impact that company actions are having on the environment is becoming an increasingly important issue across the globe.

An effective EMS certified to ISO 14001 helps us operate in a more cost efficient and environmentally responsible manner by managing our impacts, including those which we can control and influence, while also complying with relevant environmental legislation and our environmental policy.

To gain and maintain certification, Futures Supplies ensures legislative compliance, records information on the operation of its EMS and demonstrates continual improvement.  Increased credibility comes from regular independent assessment to ensure its Environmental Management System continues to meet the requirements of the standard.

Carbon Neutral and Proud of it

Accreditions (03 - Carbon Neutral)

Scientific consensus states that carbon emissions must be reduced to avoid catastrophic climate change. Businesses have an important and essential role to play in meeting reduction targets and carbon offsetting enables businesses like ours to play a part in the climate change battle.

In partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain, Futures Supplies is delighted to have renewed it's Carbon Neutral status again this year. This accreditation positions us as an industry leader with one of the strongest and most credible approaches to climate change.

Since 2006 we have demonstrated our commitment to reducing CO² in accordance with leading edge quality assurance standards,

We are proud to be taking a net zero position on emissions by measuring the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions associated with our business, reducing them at source, and then offsetting any unavoidable emissions by purchasing carbon credits.

To ‘balance out’ our emissions, we use our carbon credits to support projects throughout the world. We are currently supporting the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund™.

As a result of this reduction process coupled with offsetting the unavoidable emissions associated with our business, our carbon footprint is reduced to net zero.

Certified Living Wage Employer

Accreditations (04 - Living Wage Employer)

The Living Wage is a voluntary, higher rate of base pay. It provides a benchmark for responsible employers who choose to pay their employees a rate that meets the cost of living throughout the UK and London. It is higher than the government’s National Minimum Wage rates because it is calculated according to the cost of living.

The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the actual cost of living and it is voluntarily paid by businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets their everyday needs.

Katherine Chapman, Director, Living Wage Foundation said, “Futures Supplies are one of thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more responsible employers who voluntarily go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on. These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer.

At Futures Supplies we believe not only is it more socially responsible to invest in our employees by paying them the real London Living Wage, we believe it also contributes to ensuring our staff are happy, motivated and deliver the best possible service to our valued customers.
