Andy Completes His Incredible Journey

Battling torrential weather conditions in the Scottish Highlands, Andy arrived home on the 30th May having successfully completed his nine-day charity bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

Andy has been a keen cyclist since Futures Supplies set up its Green Travel Plan, purchased pool bikes, installed showers and lockers to promote the use of green sustainable travel to the workforce back in 2004.

With the help of kind support and sponsorship from friends, customers, suppliers and fellow members of staff, Andy raised a massive £5,000 on behalf of leading UK children’s charity Action Medical Research.

Andy said, “The ride was very gruelling but I am glad I did it, arriving at John O’Groats was very emotional – thanks to everyone who supported me.”

Well-done Andy, what a truly amazing and fantastic achievement!
