Daniel Hills joined Futures Supplies & Support Services Ltd in 1997 as a Warehouse Assistant at just 16 years old. Over the ensuing 20 years, Dan progressed rapidly, acquiring additional skills through training, mentoring and experience, to the position of Office Manager and ultimately Operations Manager.
Assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business Dan’s role now includes client support, order processing, purchasing and co-ordinating logistics.
Dan is a key member of the management team. He is remarkably dedicated, loyal and cheerfully supports the team fostering a friendly and collaborative environment with both his colleagues and clients alike.
His dedication and work ethic never waver and this was rewarded with an all-expenses paid surprise trip to Las Vegas in March.
Dan said “Vegas has always been on my wish list, I cannot tell you what a fabulous surprise it was and how grateful I am. What an amazing time I had, I can’t put it into words. I am blessed to work at such an amazing company with a great team of people – roll on the next twenty years.”
Founder and CEO Mandie Kemp’s belief is that there is more to business than the bottom line. Futures Supplies has always been committed to the support and development of young people. It has offered apprenticeships and work placements to young people providing training and experience to help build their confidence with a view to catalysing long-term employment.
Mandie says, “Responsible business, sometimes referred to as corporate social responsibility or CSR, is at the core of our business strategies and Dan living breathing proof of this. I congratulate him for his long service, he is an inspiration and I wish him continued success in his role for many years to come. I hope the trip goes some way to shows how much we truly appreciate his loyalty, hard work and dedication.”
We want your customer experience to be a positive one from placing your order through to its arrival, therefore along with customer service training all our drivers are provided with external driver training.
This ensures our drivers develop greater hazard awareness and risk perception skills reducing the driver’s vulnerability to accidents and the risk of personal injury or damage.
In-vehicle driver training is universally recognised as the single most effective way to reduce driver related incidents ensuring your delivery arrives safely and with a smile every time.

Twenty years marks a significant milestone for Futures Supplies. We began as a small business working from home with a garage full of toilet rolls and cleaning supplies delivering door to door. We have now grown to become an award winning company with a turnover in excess of £3.5 million. Working with local customers and on a national basis we are honoured to be able to celebrate this occasion with many of the people who have shared our journey and contributed to make the company the success it is today.

Our very own Santa Daniel is busy out and about throughout November and December delivering Christmas cheer to our wonderful customers to thank you all for your valued business and loyalty over the past year.
Following the appointment of Marc Kemp as Managing Director this year, Futures Supplies has seen considerable growth and continues expand its young vibrant team with well trained, motivated and quality personnel to support the ever expanding customer base.
The company now runs seven delivery vehicles, a team of drivers and warehouse support staff and has recently seen David Wilder join the team as the Warehouse Manager. With his vast experience in this area David will oversee and support the team to ensure we deliver the very best in customer satisfaction throughout the logistics department.
David is responsible for the day to day and smooth running of the transport department, its personnel and vehicles. He is an experienced manager, a qualified first aider and experienced reach truck operative. He oversees goods in and out and supports the logistics team including the drivers to ensure they carry out their roles to meet customer expectations and ensure the continual improvement and smooth running of the logistics department.
