Twenty years marks a significant milestone for Futures Supplies. We began as a small business working from home with a garage full of toilet rolls and cleaning supplies delivering door to door. We have now grown to become an award winning company with a turnover in excess of £3.5 million. Working with local customers and on a national basis we are honoured to be able to celebrate this occasion with many of the people who have shared our journey and contributed to make the company the success it is today.

Futures Supplies was set up in 1995 by current CEO Mandie Kemp and in the last two decades the company has established itself as a pioneer, innovator and leader within the cleaning industry. The company is now well established and respected and is recognised as a major player in distributing washroom, cleaning, janitorial and associated products. It is proactive in its approach to the environment and is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, always seeking ways to put something back into the local community, whilst delivering exceptional value and customer service excellence.

We are thankful to our many customers and partners for their loyalty over the past twenty years. Our industry has evolved and developed significantly, there has been substantial growth and competition is always fierce. Cleanology, based in central London, was founded by the Ponniah family in 1999 with only one contract and one cleaner. Now more than 15 years on, the company has expanded to over 300 staff and a long list of prestigious clients. Futures Supplies is delighted to provide washroom, cleaning, janitorial and associated products to all of it sites.

The company has also been independently recognised for its achievements and high standards such as The Green Organisation, the body which independently audits the ‘green’ credentials of companies and through which Futures Supplies holds a prestigious ‘Green Apple’ award.

Strengthening the Operations Team at Futures Supplies

Andy WattsThe Operations Department is at the heart of any business and Futures Supplies continues its inward investment to support its customers’ needs and deliver the added value of exceptional service, starting off the year by recruiting an Operations Assistant to strengthen the team.

Andy Watts has joined the company to support the Operations Manager, Dan Hills in his role. Andy is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the business including routing and coordinating the smooth and accurate deliveries to customer, liaising with the drivers and warehouse operatives and carrying out regular vehicle and Health and Safety checks in the logistics department.

Andy who has previous experience in both logistics and multidrop deliveries will be assisting Dan on a day to day level and says “I am keen to learn from Dan who has worked at Futures Supplies for a number of years since leaving school and know that if I work hard there are brilliant opportunities here for career progression.”

ISO 9001 & 14001 CertificatesFutures Supplies is delighted to have successfully gained re-certification to BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 9001:2008 for a further 3 years until 2015 for its environmental and Quality Management systems.

To gain and maintain certification, Futures Supplies ensures legislative compliance, records information on the operation of its QMS and EMS and demonstrates continual improvement. Increased credibility comes from regular independent assessment to ensure its Environmental and Quality Management System continues to meet and exceed the requirements of the standard.
